Chilly Masala Paneer

Hello everyone, after that “Watermelon Twist” (You can find the recipe here)I tried this Chilly Paneer recipe with a little twist in the batter and it turned out to be quite yummy, try this out at your home and do let me know how it turned out to be. : )

INGREDIENTS:-

Besan(Gram Flour): 4 Tbsp
Cottage Cheese(Paneer): 150 Gms (Cut Length wise)
Salt: to taste
Red Chilly Powder: 1 Tsp
Eno: 1 Pinch
Capsicum: 1 Medium (Cut Length wise)
Oinion: 1 Medium (Cut Length wise)
Soya Sauce: 3/4 Tbsp
Green Chilly Sauce: 3/4 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup: 1 Tbsp
Oil: 2 Tbsp
Black Pepper Powder: 1/2 tsp

SERVINGS:-

This quantity will serve 2-3 people.

METHOD:-

  • Make batter of coating consistency by mixing together besan, salt, red chilly powder & ENO.
  • Add Cheese, and coat the besan all over nicely.
  • Heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan and shallow fry the Cheese/Paneer in it and keep aside.
  • Now heat 1/2 tbsp oil in another pan, add onion & capsicum to this and fry for 1 min or till veggies are a little soft.

  • Add Paneer to this & toss well.
  • Now add the sauces, salt & black pepper powder and mix well.
  • Cook for 2 min. tossing in between with light hands.
  • Transfer it to a serving platter and serve hot.

COOKING TIP:-

  • One can increase or decrease the spices and sauce as per liking.
