Okay now here comes the second entry for this contest by Dr. Radhika, and I must say living up to its name cake has a perfect Zebra Pattern. So like I said in the last post, please do pour a lot of comments and likes to make this event a success : )
INGREDIENTS:-
2 Cups all Purpose Flour 3 Tbsp Cocoa Powder 1.5 Cups Powdered Sugar 2 Tsp Baking Powder 1 Tsp Baking Soda | 1Cup Unsalted butter 1 tsp Vanilla Essence ½ Cup Yogurt Add milk to ribbon consistency |
METHOD:-
1. Mix all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder together and sift it well
2. Now sift cocoa powder also separately.
3. Now mix butter and powdered sugar and beat it well.
4. Add yogurt in it and beat again.
5. To this wet mixture, add sifted dry mixture (all purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder)
6. Add vanilla extract and mix it.
7. Beat this whole mixture very well.
8. Now divided this batter into two parts.
9. We will be having 2 batter one with cocoa and another one without cocoa
10. Beat both the batter very well.
11. Grease a baking tin.
12. Now take one Tbsp of Cocoa Batter and pour on tray gently.
13. Pour one spoon of plain batter on cocoa one in your tin.
14. Repeat this pouring process till you finish with your both batters.
15. Make sure that you do not disturb the Zebra stripes, which get created and there is a distance between 2 stripes.
16. Preheat your oven and bake this for 40 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
