Coconut & Raisin Cookies (Video Recipe)

Okay, I was a little nervous initially to start this again, setting up tripod also took a little while, but in no time I was back to myself with loads of confidence, and finally the video is shot, edited and published. Not to forget, a big thanks to my Molly for sleeping during the shoot : ) and letting Mumma finish her work, you are such a darling!!!

So presenting you guyzz a brand new video on Coconut & Raisin Cookies!!!

INGREDIENTS:-

Dry Ingredients:
Plain Flour(Maida): 1 Cup
Baking Powder: 1 Tsp
Desiccated Coconut(Nariyal Bura): 1/4 Cup
Raisins: 1/4 Cup
Wet Ingredients:
Butter(Salted): 1/2 Cup
Castor Sugar: 1/2 Cup
Vanilla Essence: 1 Tsp
Milk: 2-3 Tbsp
Milk Powder: 1 Tsp

SERVINGS:-

This quantity will make 15-16 cookies.

METHOD:-

  • Swift Flour and baking powder in a bowl.
  • Add coconut & raisins, mix well & keep aside.
  • Cream together Sugar, melted butter & Vanilla Essence in a bowl.
  • Combine both dry & wet mixture.
  • Mix milk powder & milk in a bowl.
  • Add this to the previous mixture, to form a soft dough.
  • Make cookies of the desired shape with the dough.
  • Bake it for 20-25 mins at 160 c in a pre-heated oven.
  • Can grill for 2-3 at the end, keeping only the top element on of the Oven, to give the cookies a nice brown colour on top.
  • Take it out of the oven and let them cool down on a cooling rack for 25-20 mins.
  • Serve them with Tea, Coffee or the way you like.

BAKING TIP:-

  • Baking temperature  may vary +/- 10 c  based on the Oven and climate conditions.
  • Baking time may vary 5-10 mins based on Oven & Climate Conditions.
  • First add two tbsp of milk & milk powder mixture and if it still fells dry, then add the rest of it to the dough.
