I had some left over Paneer and wanted experiment it with something other than the regular stuff. This is where my creative cooking sense started tickling and I tried my hand on this different style of Paneer Chilly and thus the name, best served as a starter or side dish !!
Stylized Paneer Chilly !!!!!
SERVINGS:-
This quantity will serve 2 people.
INGREDIENTS:-
250 gms of cubed paneer 1/2 cup of boiled vermicelli 1cup of finely chopped onions 1/2 cup of finely chopped cabbage 1/2 cup of finely chopped capsicum 2tbsp of Tomato Sauce 1tsp of soy sauce | 1/2 tsp of Vinegar 1/2 tbsp of Sugar 1/2 tbsp of Red Chilly Powder 1/2 tbsp of finely chopped garlic 1/2 tsp corn flour well dissolved in water 2 tbsp of oil Salt to taste |
METHOD:-
- Shallow Fry the Paneer Cubes.
- In a Pan put the entire oil. Once it is heated, add the garlic, onions, capsicum and cabbage.
- Let it cook well till all veggies are translucently brown and soft.
- Then add all the other ingredients except Paneer and Vermicelli and cook it well.
- Once the mixture looks well blended, add the paneer cubes and vermicelli.
- Mix it well.Add corn flour and put a lid on top. Stir is softly so that all is mixed well .
- After few mins, remove it in serving dish.
- Garnish with Capsicum and serve hot!
