Grand Snacks Pickles & Thokku

by Mahalakshmi (Mahi)

The Grand Snacks and Sweets is a very famous sweets and savory shop in Chennai. They specialize in South-Indian Sweet and Snack items. It is based in Adyar, Chennai and now, they have few franchises too!

The food prepared there is very fresh and hygienic and they taste yummy!  People used to buy this when they travel abroad as it is very convenient to mix with rice and eat. It gives a comfort feeling of having a home cooked meal. I bought it too, when I traveled here :)  I was so excited to find it in grocery stores in USA.

Cafe Lolz Gastropub “Restaurant Review”

by Radhika

I am a student and I am always searching for pocket-friendly restaurant and cafes. I got to know about this place from my friends who usually hangout in the south campus area. I checked out this place with my college friends. I loved it. The ambience, staff, seating, games, food-everything was really nice. Food quality and quantity both were awesome. The menu won’t burn a hole in your pocket at all. You will relish the food here with no disappointments.

Most of the cafes located in south campus are pocket friendly.

LOCATION:-

295, Ground Floor, Benito Suarez Marg, Satyaniketan, New Delhi

CUISINE:-

American, Italian

BUDGET:-

Rs. 500-1000 plus taxes for two.

SERVICE:-

Service was quick. Staff were courteous and polite.

AMBIENCE:-

Ambience was lovely. It’s a bright and colorful place. Interiors are well done, you can play games like ludo, chessboards on the dining table. Then there was a small corner where there were cushions on the floor, I chose that place to sit.

Perfectly Boiled Noodles/Review Tops Noodles

by Aman

Hello everyone this is a recipe-cum-review post from me today. “Noodles” not just kids, but everyone love them, but we always wonder why it doesn’t taste the same when it’s cooked at home as it tastes in those Chinese restaurants,  well if you follow the recipe/instructions  given in the post today I don’t think you will think the same ever after.

The first and the important step is obviously boiling noodles and most of the times mistake happens at this step itself which ruins the whole dish. Here is a step-by-step instruction manual on how to perfectly boil noodles.

I have used Tops Plain Noodles for this recipe and there is a mini review at the end of the post.
