Paneer Kofta Curry

Hello readers, I am Shobhana, popularly known as Meenu and I have developed a love for cooking quiet recently. I had a few friends coming over for lunch so tried this new recipe of Paneer Koftas to kindaa show off my cooking skills, and yes, everyone just loved it, so thought of sharing it with you guyzzz hope you will like it.

INGREDIENTS:-

Paneer/Cottage Cheese: 250 Gms
Tomatoes: 5-6 Medium
Onions: 3 Medium
Garlic: 5-6 Cloves
Bread slices: 4-5
Milk: 1 Cup
Cream: 3 Tbsp
Salt: to taste
Red Chilly Powder: to Taste
Garam Masala: 1/2 Tsp
Black Pepper Powder: 1 Tsp
Oil: 2-3 Tbsp

METHOD:-

For Gravy:-

  • Make a cross with knife on the tip of tomatoes, blanch them and peel off the skin.
  • Grind tomatoes to make puree.
  • Grind Onions and garlic to make a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion garlic paste cook till its brown.
  • Add tomato puree and again cook for 5 mins.
  • Now add all the spices, mix well and cook till oil separates.
  • Switch off the flame, add milk and cream, now switch on the flame again, and cook for another 10 mins.

FOR KOFTAS:-

  • Soak Bread slices in water and mash it with paneer.
  • Add salt to this paneer mixture, make balls and deep fry.
  • Now add this to the gravy, garnish and serve hot.
