Classic Shahi Panner Masala ‘Recipe & Mini Review’

by Mansi

Hellos everyone this is my first post on hobbychef, and I made Shahi Paneer using this “Classic Shahi Paneer Masala” spice mix pack. There is a mini review of this spice mix after the recipe, so please do read that before trying it out : )

Grind to a Paste:
Onion: 1 Big
Tomato: 2 Big
Green Chilli: 1 Medium
Ginger: 10 - 15 Gms
For Cooking
Oil: 2 Tbsp
Cream: 1 Tbsp
Milk: 1/2 Cup
Tomato Ketchup: 1 Tbsp
Classic Shahi Paneer Masala: 1 Pack
Paneer (Cottage Cheese): 250 Gms

This quantity will serve 3-4 People.

  • Heat oil in a pan, add the ground paste and cook till oil separates.
  • Add cream and Ketchup, and fry for 3-4 mins.
  • Now mix Classic Shahi Paneer Masala in 1/2 cup milk and add to the gravy.
  • Add the cubed paneer to this, cook for 5 mins.
  • Shahi Paneer is ready to serve.
  • Transfer this in a serving bowl, garnish with fresh cream and serve hot with chapatti.

  • Shelf life is 12 months, which is more than just good.
  • Comes in a small pack 20 gms pack which can be used in one time preparation, so storage is not a problem at all.
  • Shahi Paneer tasted very good and quite close to the restaurant and wedding style.
  • You get 2 packs of 20gm spice mix for Rs. 32 which is easy on the pocket.
  • Easy to follow instructions were mentioned on the pack itself.
  • One doesn’t need to add any spices so reduces time and effort.

  • The only con I could find in the product is that its not easily available.

I would love to give this product a two thumbs up out of two which is simply great, the only issue is availably otherwise it’s a fantastic product. Yes, I will definitely buy this product again.

Taaadaaa… I hope you like the review, pleassssee do post lots of comments to encourage me to write more and more… BBBYYee..
