Multi-Grain is a the current favorite term used in the food world these days, as people are becoming more and more conscious about their eating habits. Therefore, we come out with the recipes which not only tastes good, but takes care of the health factor as well. One of them is my today’s recipe Multi-Grain Sago Pancakes!!!!

Sago: 1/2 Cup Soaked it for 2 hrs.
Potato: 1 Medium, Boiled & Mashed
Oinon: 1 Small Chopped
Tomato: 1 Small Chopped
Capsicum: 1/2 Small Chopped
Lime Juice: 1/2 Lime
Sprouts: 1/2 Cup
Multi-Grain Mixture: 1/2 Cup
Fresh Coriander: 2 Tbsp Chopped
Green Chilly: as per taste
Salt: to taste
Red Chilly Powder: to taste
Amchur (dry mango) Powder: 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masal: 1/2 Tsp
Chaat Masala: 1 Tsp
Oil: to Shallow fry

This quantity will make 6-7 pancakes.

  • Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl (except oil), and mix well.
  • Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a pan.
  • Apply some oil in your palm and take one generous portion of the mixture in your hand and flatten it with your palms.
  • Now put this in pan and spread it a little more with the help of a spatula.
  • Cook it from one side for 2 mins or till crispy then flip over and cook from the other side.
  • Pancake is ready serve this hot with the dipping of your choice, I served it mayonnaise and fresh coriander and it tastes great.

  • If multi-grain mixture is not available you can use the normal “Multi Grain Atta” which we use to make chapattis at home.
  • Make one pancake first and if it breaks you can a 1-2 tbsp of normal wheat flour to this or increase the quantity of boiled potato.
