Homemade Atta & Nuts Cookies (Video Recipe)

These freshly baked Whole Wheat Flour cookies are  best snacking option for anyone, specially kids. Tastes best when you dunk them in your cup of tea. : ) Ennjjoyyyyyy!!!!!



Atta (Whole Wheat Flour): 1/2 Cup
Ghee (Clarified Butter): 1/4 Cup
Castor Sugar: 3 Tbsp
Baking Powder: 1/2 Tsp
Salt: 1/4 Tsp
Milk: 2 Tbsp
Crushed Nuts: 2 Tbsp


This quantity will make 15, 1.5cm thick cookies.



  • Keep Ghee in freezer for 10 mins.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients together, in a mixing bowl.
  • Now add the solidified ghee in the dry ingredients and rub well.
  • Now add milk to form a dough.
  • Keep the dough in freezer for 10 min to set.
  • Take out the dough from freezer and roll into 1.5 cm thickness.
  • Cut the cookies of your desired shape.
  • Arrange on a baking tray.
  • Sprinkle crushed nuts over them and press softly so that nuts stick to the cookies.
  • Bake at 180c for 5-7mins in a pre-heated oven.


  • Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for 10-15 mins.
  • Serve right away with tea or store in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks.
