Amritsari Fish

Hello everyone, hope you guys are doing well and also hope that you liked the recipe for Spicy Fish Fry in my last post so, continuing with the same trend I am posting here yet another lip smacking fish preparation Amritsri Fish do try it in your kitchen and pour for feedback and comments below, eagerly waiting..

Also one more thing, I got so much involved in the process of cooking that I forgot to click pictures in between but next time will do it for sure.

Rawas Boneless: 300gms
Oil: to deep fry
Salt: to taste
Red Chilly Paste: 1 Tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 1/2 Tbsp
Lime Juice: 1/2 Lime
Carom Seeds (ajwain): 1/4 Tsp
Vinegar: 1 Tsp
Gram Flour/Besan: 2 Tbsp
Plain Flour/Maida: 1 Tbsp
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 Tsp
Chaat Masala: 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala: 1/4 Tsp
Red Chilly Powder: to taste


  • Mix together salt, red chilly powder, lime juice & ginger garlic paste in a bowl to make marinade.
  • Now apply this marinade on fish pieces covering all over, and keep in fridge for 30-40 mins.
  • Make a thick paste by mixing all other ingredients except oil, use a little water if required.
  • Coat this over marinated fish pieces and deep fry in hot oil.
  • Serve hot with green chutney.

  • Cut fish in smaller pieces.
