I have added this MAGGI MASALA to various preparations and today I will review on how it tasted with POHA.

Tomato: 1 medium Chopped
Peas: 1/4 Cup
Potato: 1 medium Chopped

  • Heat oil in a Pan add mustard seeds when it crackles add curry leaves fry for 30 sec.
  • Add onions sauté for 1 min then add potatoes, salt (add little salt now then add more later) and turmeric, cook covered.
  • When potatoes are almost done add rest of the veggies and spices and cook till all the veggies are done.
  • Meanwhile wash and rinse poha.

  • Add poha mix well, check seasoning adjust if required.
  • Keep some peanuts aside for garnish and add rest of them.
  • Serve hot.

  1. It does gives that extra flavour to the dish.
  2. Taste does not over powers the other flavour.
  3. If you love the Maggi Masala noodles it’s a good news for you that flavor is quiet close to that.
  4. Can be tried and experimented with other preparations. ( do let me know your reviews)
  5. Comes in two packing 6gms for RS 3/- and the bigger one for Rs. 20/- so not at all heavy on pocket.
  6. The only CON that I can see it that it contains artificial flavouring agents which may not be healthy.
